  • Do I really need a website?

    Yes, you absolutely need a website. To establish trust and credility with colleagues and prospective clients, you need a modern, professional website.   • How long will it take for my website to go live?​

    We can have your draft website ready within 15 business days. Any delays to this will depend on how quickly you can send  TJG Designs your initial information and the time it takes you to review your website (we provide two revisions). 

  • Can I use a different hosting company?

    Not at this time. Our host servers are connected with our Content Management System (CMS) so we cannot separate the hosting from our platform to make ongoing edits. Our websites allow you to have access to self-editing 24/7 at no additional charge.

  • What about my domain name?

    You are welcome to register your domain name anywhere you like. When we're ready to get your site live, we'll walk you through pointing the domain to us.

  • Can I make changes to my site after it's published? How much does it cost?​

    Of course you can. We give you easy self-management access which is free of charge on our user-friendly platform.

  • Can you maintain my website?

    Yes. This is one of my most popular services.


    We understand that not all businesses have the time to update their website and for that reason I offer a popular stress-reducing website care service. Maintenance service clients can simply tell me what needs updating and we will complete updates.  Read more details about our website maintenance services.

  • What are the ongoing maintenance costs to run my website?

    ​There are two main ongoing costs to keep your website live on the Internet:

    Hosting: Every website needs to have it's files stored on a secure server to be accessible to the Internet. Without it, your website would not exist. After the first year of free hosting with TJG Designs, there is a $99 annual fee for hosting. 

    Domain Name Renewal: Each year, your domain name will require renewal. If we purchased this on your behalf, we will simply renew it for you at cost each year ($45 for 12 months).

  • ​Are there any emails included with my website?

    We do not include email accounts within our standard service. If you would like an email address connected to your domain name, we can set one up for you through Google Workspace (formerly G Suite), for a one-off fee of $150. There is an ongoing charge of $6 per month per email address directly payable to Google for the mailbox.

  • Do I get a dashboard for my site?

    Yes. You will be able to log in to your site from any computer, and make changes and/or view your site statistics to see how it's performing. We recommend getting google analytics for more in depth statistics.

  • If I cancel with you, can I keep my website?

    You are free to cancel with us at anytime. Unfortunately, once you decide you'd like to end our relationship you will not be able to take the website we built for you to a different hosting company. Since the website and hosting software that we use are one-in-the same. We cannot separate them to give you the website. In order to keep the website that we built for you live, you will need to continue to pay the monthly hosting. Once you decide to cancel, we will subsequently cancel your automatic monthly hosting and the website will be turned off. You are free to go to a different company if you choose, but they would have to rebuild the website for you from the ground up. We will also transfer your domain name to whomever you'd like if we have your domain regsitered under our account.
